This series is Bujold writing Lackey's brand of fluffy fantasy romance. The frustrating thing about it is that the world she's constructed here is fascinating and I adore the character of Dag (even if he is Cazaril 2.0), but the romance itself is mostly dull with occasional cute moments. Still want to slap Fawn. Will keep reading these because I love Dag as a character.
